RE: Would you like to have Jason McG... (in reply to Arash)
I dont think so, i mean that it was his real name. Pretty sure it was just a troll account. At least i hope it was a troll, otherwise he must have a social disorder. All in all not that funny and a downer. Too bad his creativity was limited to repeating "not spanish!" in every post. We had MUCH better trolls in past, with more interesting theories etc.
RE: Would you like to have Jason McG... (in reply to Waldo)
Wait .... If flamenco is only for REAL Spanish gypsies from a certain region of Spain, then why does Paco de Lucia still tour all over the world? Why did Sabicas tour? Why did Carlos Montoya tour? Why does Vicente Amigo tour? and Moraito Chico? ...

That is just great. Now Ramzi will create another thread asking us if we want Waldo back. I can tell you already that I do.

I'm more entertained by the guys who are not trolls...folk like The Professor, The Vikingo, The Mushroom guy etc....
You mean not trolls, just honestly insane? I know we don't want to talk about him but The Professor is a virus on the interwebs. The reason I mention it is because of what happens if you search Yutú for 'Moraito'; it's sickening. But let's not talk about it.
Anyway Ron, good to see you're feeling a bit better.

Terminated .........Ron has the power ........however .......I'll be back......seems to go with the terminated bit .,new name sllightly different angle , and away we go .... I can't see his point at all .. ...what does he want us to do ? admit some of us or not Spanish ? How does that help ..... close down due to non Spanishness ../?? And yet he is not Spanish himself ,noted by his use of English , ... and what has this got to do with Jason? on this thread.... And why are did no-one ask Rombsix about his comment . .."I just made this thread because one of the foro members told me to......" who was that ? maybe it was him , you know to set it up ......... and now he's thinking ..."and I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those pesky kids....

I have been asked, do I play guitar. No I sing. I often sing without a guitarist, they are not essential to flamenca. I often only meet the guitar player just before I sing, and I must say, I would be really disheartened if the guitar player was not Spanish. You do not have the required empathy if you come from anywhere else. I have joined the wrong website. I will leave.

Darn, I am sure he was a GREAT cantaor!
He was probably like the "Mushroom" guy who didn't know any Spanish (I noticed Waldo couldn't spell "aficionado" and mentioned "flamenca" a couple of times), but just wailed ay ay ay ay with no knowledge of compás or anything, but thought it was Flamenco.
Like folk talking about dancing "The Flamenco", like The Foxtrot or The Tango.
