What else do you listen to these days?

Share some stuff you listen to, other than flamenco, these days.

I miss the 80s and I often just listen to this type of instrumental Retro Synthwave music in the background:

Grondona plays old Spanish guitars. (The link is a playlist, not sure how the embedding will affect that, I tried to post as a link. Same with the next one.)

John Barry's score for On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Aloÿs Fornerod
I like some of his piano music and it is refreshingly different. I found him because he wrote one piece for guitar.

Okay you caught me in a weird week. "Atomic Blonde" soundtrack playlist

It's funny you've mentioned the old synth rock as recently I've been listening to quite a bit of Krautrock from the 70s. My inspiration came from remembering how much I loved the music of Michael Rother back in the day. I went in Apple Music and downloaded a bunch of his stuff and now it's compiled a few different playlists of the genre that I play in the background. Very relaxing music and the playlists have led to the discovery of quite a few artists from the era that I hadn't known about.

Here's one of Michael Rother's pieces that I remember well. One memory I have of this song is of lying in bed on a hot summer's night in a high floor hotel room in a big city I was visiting. I had left the curtains open so I could look out at the city lights while this lulled me to sleep. For some reason, that memory has never left me.
