I watch this every day. I cannot get enough of this video. I am intrigued by every part of it. Love at 1:40 when the Imam Shiekh Ahmed al Tuni's group comes in with the Oud. Then comes the improv with the guitar and cajon. Now that you are in a trance.......

I think I've posted this before, but any excuse to post it again. The magnificent Virginia Gamez and Curro de Maria (Malaga). Turn up the volume! Throw la Lupi into the mix if you like to watch dancing at its best (see clevblue's post) . Who thinks there's no decent flamenco on the Costa del Sol?

He's a friend of my teachers and a seriously hilarious dude, and a bit of a metal head too \m/

I am not sorry for resurrecting this thread , since i first discovered it back in October i have sought out and found much audio and video which in turn is helping me understand much more on my Flamenco journey particularly these older recordings with Cante.
I'm sure there are many lurkers and beginners around this forum that could do with a thread like this being kept alive because when you don't know what your looking for well its nice to have a complation put together by enthusiasts.

Read the comments from the flamenco snobs who were horrified that flamenco and Sufi chant were on the same bill! as if flamenco had no connection to Arab music.

Kema's version of Pharaon is another favorite, but I've posted it before. I know Moraito's bulerias has been posted twice in this thread, but its good enough for a third

I'm really liking this at moment.....not the t wat slapping advert at the beginning though that wasn't there when I looked at it earlier!! Quite like the nice rhyming bit at the start ....made me chuckle a little!
Enjoy you lot

This solea is just absolutely perfect. in the first minute or so, you can just feel how he's building up for something amazing....not saying that the intro isn't amazing though haha.
In these older Tomatito videos...i just love the raw sound...played through my "studio monitors" it feels like i am there. This is a pretty jazzed up tangos but i feel like the jazzy chords aren't over done and fit nicely.
I love this bulerias by Paco Pen~a, the microphone is a bit to close to his guitar but in spots the added 'distortion' doesn't sound bad...just during some of the rasgeos, my ears feel like they are going to explode but that is all.
