So I was doing research for my class and was researching camaron's contribution to flamenco. Many of the images that I kept coming across was of his hand(s). Anyways, I have always noticed his tattoo on his hand (half moon and star of david?) and have wondered what it symbolizes. So does anyone know the meaning behind this tat?
this refers to egypt or muslims and the star refers to the jews ,on the old egyption flag was the half moon and the cross ....so always in muslims comunities the half moon refers to islam cause they get blessed by this time of month and keeps asking god and prays. doublekk2 from bbc egypt .....
In Granada, maybe also in the rest of Spain, when the Star appears above the crescent Moon like in Cameróns tatoo it is called La Luna Mora, The Moorish Moon.
