RE: Any new albums coming up? (in reply to nikgogl)
Maria Terremoto - La huella de mi sentío. Just had a listen. It's a mixed bag of puro and impuro. Great in places, but a bit inconsistent - there are two tracks with all the modern clichés that'll definetly get kicked off my play list. The rest is refreshingly old school and she's inherited a fine set of lungs! How many other singers recorded a Trilla in recent years? Ole!

From this year, I really liked
"Albayzín" by Kiki Morente (he does sound eerily like his father on a couple cuts, but he definitely has his own aesthetic) "Dos Caminos" by Samuel Serrano "Universo Pastora" by Israel Fernández The aforementioned María Terremoto album was really excellent, aside from those one or two pop flamenco pieces (which are good for what they are)
Also: I didn't know Jose el Mijita had a new album. Going to investigate now!

Had a listen to the Terromoto album. A few good tracks on there, and a few tracks that are meh. Thought I heard Esperanza Fernandez too, something in her voice gets under my skin, not in a good way.
