C shaped barre

yes another newb question. I watch you guys hands when I watch your vids. I saw you using a C shape chord with a barre. It makes a great sounding chord ,, what I mean is the pinky hitting the root on the 5th string ,, Ive played guitar for yrs. But never did this. I of course know using the e shape, am shape, d, shape with a barre. and have tried these the last couple nights. But they are not NEW like using the C shape. I see some of these flamenco chords require long stretches,,, but sound fantastic. Can you recommend a next chord for me to learn. sorry if this is not clear. Steve
