what strings are these?

I bought a new (well, second hand) guitar a little while ago, and I'm still experimenting with strings. I'd like to try put on the same strings that sounded good on it when I bought it, but the guy I got it from didn't know what they were (he hadn't played it much).

On the guitar they looked like clear nylon trebles with a purple-ish tinge, but after taking them off when I replaced the set they look sort of translucent grey (pic attached).

Can anyone tell me what they are plz?

Thanks for help, looks like it's going to be an expensive bit of research to figure out which brand, I just had a look and the Hannabach Titanyls are not cheap! But at least there's only one tension option to try.... looks like the Galli have three.

I've used both galli and hannabachs
If u still have the basses and notice a white wire filament core they are hannabachs..
The tension on them is med hard
They are a nice feeling, extremely long lasting string
Takes ages for a capo to indent the basses
Certainly a great sounding string
Galli are a more standard string as far the basses go but also a great string
The d'addario are unknown to me but your strings could also be them

Good luck

nope, basses are gone.

I see too that Luthier make a "titanium" treble set....

maybe the purple-ish tinge will be recognisable? Also, reading about these "titanium" trebles they are s'posed to be thinner than normal nylon, but the strings in the pics don't seem to be especially thin, maybe that will help to identify them.

either way I will try a few sets and see if I like them.

cool, I ordered some of those to see what they're like, gonna try the normal and hard tension to see what the guitar likes best.

Which reminds me:

Pyramid Flamenco HT strings... a total disaster. I might review them one day but I think that I wont be buying any HT sets from any brand in a near future.

These things are like wires that dont bend. They are really tight wounded, stay in tune immediately and are probably the strangest strings Ive tried.

Sound is like "Bonk bonk bonk".

D'addario titanum are the same colour as the picture and are the same thickness as D'addario pro arte nylon trebles.

They are slightly thinner (diameters are on the website) but we're splitting hairs here.
