I underwent a surgical procedure very similar to that in the below video. My operation was on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at 8:00 AM. It was done on my left wrist because of a dorsal ganglion cyst I had there. This was associated with pain when I play guitar, forcing me to stop for several days after playing for 30 minutes to 1 hour for a couple of days in a row.
I will be "off-service" for at least 2 - 3 months. Please send your prayers, positive energy, and/or healing duende my way in the hopes that I will be back to playing guitar!
Thanks!

Ramzi, I wish you the best recovery possible. Be patient, this things take time. I'm sure you'll have plenty of compositional ideas while you recover, so make sure to post the good ones after you're back on duty. May the Flamenco Force be with you.

Oh Rombsix; hope you did not let any of those butchers at Vanderbilt cut on you! (just kidding) That is a University/hospital to make southerners proud. Good luck and a speedy recovery.

Hey romb best wishes with the recovery . When i have a new guitar student i ask them what sound a guitar makes , they usually look at me fairly blankly , some have a go at making a sound . I then put the guitar on the ground and ask them what sound is it making now , no sound . Music begins in the mind , enjoy your down time romb . If you havent already you could give konnakol a go .

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Ramzi. There are many more worlds to conquer: so far medicine, flamenco, languages. What next?
Cheers,
Bill
