Well looks like I caught up with Chicuelo. I can play almost all his buleria falsetas now and he is still playing the same ones.

his syncopation during compas is from another planet though.

Dont wanna put pressure on you, but would be cool if you could share some stuff. Now, if i could play ANYTHING that would be as worth as Chicuelo's style, id surely would have posted it already.

I am just saying I know the material, not that I can play it nearly as well as he can. Obviously. Was just trying to make a joke out of the fact he always seems to use the same 3-4 falsetas for every palo live.

no, that's just everybody following paco again. paco plays with a footstool nowdays and suddenly even the nerdy footstool becomes cool

wow, I was just thinking how "empty" this concert is without cante. I feel exactly the opposite

You know, I started off the same way. It annoyed me when they put all that screechy singing on a recording. I just wanted to hear the guitar.

But over the years, somehow my taste changed. Now I seldom sit down to listen to solo guitar. Mostly when I put flamenco on the stereo, it's cante.

True ! ^^ Same with the vaseline at the left side of the guitar..the people use it even if their picado sucks.. I don´t know how often I already surprisingly grabbed right in the middle of this slimy stuff ..!!! xD
