Just wanted to say hello and that I'm blown away and very happy to see this place still alive and kicking 💪 Honestly you should be proud.....nothing on the internet lasts 20 years...
I'm slowly getting back into flamenco.....day 3 :)
Ahaha I would have been honoured and come back in a sec if you asked lol
Life goes in circles ....I never ever thought I'd be back here.
To be fair even when I wasn't here I was keeping an eye on Foro Flamenco on Facebook and would get angry when people spammed with no flamenco related stuff... :)
This place will always be sacred to me....so many years, so many memories.
No matter where you go what you do flamenco love never dies.
Life's been good no complaints, I kind of stopped playing and being involved with flamenco when I got married, had a new baby and a new mortgage, I was new at everything I didn't know how to do it all lol
Now I have 2 kids, a 2 year old and a 8 year old this time around I feel like I'm picking up guitar for better reasons, purely for myself and the music itself.
I have a long way back, practicing little basic things till it feels natural again but I love it, love the challenge
Hopefully it teaches my son anyone can do anything and go back to the beginning if you need to 😂
So happy to see you boys still here x
PS ..I did think of you during lockdown, I thought If anyone would be happy about lockdown would be flamenco guitarists, getting paid to stay home and practice which you would do for fun anyway. I would have loved it back when I was playing. My life was a lockdown lol.

Best time of my life, and when the gov. Unemployment started rolling in, wow…the best part was the kids (and therefore I), NEVER got sick once! Ever since I have been like when is the NEXT pandemic???
O M G !!!! My Grisha x so much catching up to do, btw I got muscles too now !! Lol been training a lot. Don't ask me for a photo because I won't post one ! :)
Haha you crazies....give me 6 months to get comfortable again..
But this time around I promised myself and Henrik Il be a better musician...focus more on melody and compas...
70% of my focus in the past was on picado
This is surreal feel like I found some loophole into 10 years ago in my life lol if Todk and Jason appear too Il lose mind.
I wanna see some recent stuff from you guys where do I go ?
Ok Grisha is huge on YouTube... probably a millionaire
Haha, I wish! I get maybe $40 a month from YouTube. But then again, I haven't posted in a year. But with my brother Florian back, I might start posting again!
You got muscles, Flo? Good for you! It looks like we are taking turns, as I lost mine after 42. But, challenge accepted!
Whhhhat ?? You lost yours ?? I only got mine cause you had em....
Wtf $40 bucks a month ? I'm on YouTube right now going through everything you did in the last 10 years....some of them have 250 K views !!
There's not a guitarist out there whos music you can't play ( ofcourse with enough time to master it), just as good or better. Il put money on it... Not 1 ( I'm getting ideas for challenges :) )
At the begsining of our coved lockdown, day three if I recall, I lost a foot race with a bull moose and spent a year couch bound. I spent endless hours porusing the back pages of the Foro on those painful sleepless nights, getting to know the Foro members of old and a community that had moved on for various reasons. Seems in the last year a few of you have popped back on the radar like ghosts from a past…
Anyway welcome back to the fight, thus time I’m sure our side will win!

I prefer my flamenco guitar spicy, doesn't have to be fast, should have some meat on the bones, can be raw or well done, as long as it doesn't sound like it's turning green on an elevator floor.
Welcome back, Florian! I think you will be an even better flamenco guitarist as age slows things down and you can appreciate the feeling more.
This forum is still going because it is based on old technology that just works. I daren't touch it though I may move us to a new platform before it completely breaks.
So good to see you sir, yes I hope so I mean I grew up here, I cringe to read back some of the **** I might have said back then lol, some of my " rebellious " years.
The good thing is I'm in no hurry for anything, not looking to perform or impress... Just miss the feeling of creating something, listening to it and think, wow that was me.
I tried other avenues...there's nothing like it, at the end of the night when you listen back to a recording or a video you did that you actually like
I read about the donation page how can I help ? I'm down for whatever. This place is sacred ,has given me and others so much enjoyment and happiness and over the years.
Can we do a challenge or something with a small unoticable entry fee so many can get involved ?
Or I can donate or make it a monthly thing.
Or Another idea was to challenge Grisha to play anything we choose after a month and if he can't we ban him 😂
and if he can I pay $ 100 and everyone else involved in the picking the song donates whatever they can like an auction ? Ofcourse I haven't ran any of this by Grisha lol
