RE: can u tell what kind of rasgeo i... (in reply to ronney2s)
I'm not burning my fingers on this one, theres a mic holder obstructing the view. I guess i would favor the ia variation if i had to play it myself. Notice that it can be played on 1/4 of the speed when you watch it on youtube itself (in case one does't have the software to do an even better job to ones disposel)!

its iia - index down index up ring up, with golpes after every second triplet
Ring up?
Ronney - this has been discussed many times on different threads. Go through the archives here (do a search) and you will find it. It's like something from El Tempul by PdL. Ricardo says it's index only here, and in other threads he has talked about other ways of doing it, and the late Ron had a cheat for it, etc. The bottom line is that there are several ways of achieving that sound...
RE: can u tell what kind of rasgeo i... (in reply to ronney2s)
for my ears it is iia with a down the sound is continuous and overlapped in the first video i don't think that such a sound could be produced by i solo

I could be mistaken, but I don't think he's using any golpes here, I think most of the work is done using the index and what seems like a golpe is just a downstroke using the ring finger.

as crazy and illogical it may be, Ricardo is right, i've downloaded this last sample and slowed it down to 15%, indeed he's only moving his index...
Ramzi has it down slow except there he does pulgar on the open A string it is actually the A chord down stroke with golpe. It's not such a big deal it's just kind of fast that's all.
