Really cheezy Vicente Amigo video...
... classic cheese from Vicente! Check out the 'kiss' at around 3:20 and him riding the horse por Alegrias whilst his Reyes is lying on the beach! They don't make videos like that anymore

When I first became interested in flamenco I used to think his music was way too cheesy.. But now, some 7 years later, I've turned around 180degress. In my opinion, at its best, his music is truly sublime. Morente, the Granaina in this video for example, or his tarantas..
His album covers are very cheesy and he presented himself in a cheesy way (as seen above).. but it's a mistake to judge the music after the superficial surface. Cheesy presentation is pretty much standard in mediterranean countries.

Totally agree-he's an incredible musician. Looking forward to his gig here next year. Cheeze sells, and if his "people" need to produce stuff like that to enable him to sell enough seats for him to tour, small price to pay for the people who dig his music.

This thread is causing quite a turnout! What I meant was that the video was cheesy, not Vicente's music... I love the man... he's playing near Paris in January but I won't be able to go see him unfortunately

Oh. My. God. I cannot believe I just watched a Vicente Amigo video in which there was absolutely no footage of Vicente playing guitar. Vicente on horseback?! Who cares!!!
This is even worse than that clip of Ozzy's "Crazy Train." Randy Rhoads launches into his guitar solo at 3:00, and what does the cameraman give us? The bass player in pelvic-thrusting red spandex.
(What really redeems that video, however, is Ozzy's voice cracking. You catch a glimpse at 2:25. At 2:35, Ozzy really starts to struggle with it. By 2:55, the crack is full-blown, and Ozzy just says, "**** it!")

Cheesy is like Manolo Sanlucar's Caballo Negro:
Ricardo ..ahhh dont ever do that again ....I actually watched it ..... now I have to burn my eyes out , that was the worst Non-flamenco video from a flamenco player I have ever seen
and I dont know what he is playing at the close up at 2:55 and onward .. and now I have that image in my head ,, seeking therapy may help dull it down ,...

OHH he looks like a german destroyer (gay accent)............... sorry
How does Germany relates to a gay accent? I lately heard about a scetch on stage somewhere here where they also had this weird relation.. how comes?? Germany is the UN-gayest nation ever my friend! ;) (With french I would understand..but german..no way. There must have had a very untalented comedian screwed something up big time!!)
