It's a shame you're having to go through something like that. I hope it will only be a phase, and that, even if years later, things will look up and you can go back to being a flamenco aficionado.
unfortunately, I don't know you well .. but it is sad to hear that you're gonna give up flamenco and leave the forum hope you change your mind. life is too short to give up stuff we enjoy and love on the other hand each one of us has different path in life and different situations to deal with. hope this decision will be for your own good. good luck
i understand u need the money ...but you dont necessarily have to give up flamenco ...for years and years i played on a $50 guitar, even a couple of years back i was playing and performing on a terrible terrible borrowed guitar cause i didnt have one of my own.....crappy guitars build character but it does not mean it has to be the end of your flamenco journey...guitar is just a tool , youl get another good one...this is ofcourse if you are giving up because u are worried that u need to sell your guitars and flamenco stuff...
whatever it is i hope everything works out exactly the way u want it
Hi Nealf have noticed your name since i joined here and though we don.t know each other i wish you a sense of peace with your desc ion.. can.t imagine it... making a call like that...that is so tough...saddens many of us your much stronger than i...
I have read many times on the Foro that flamenco lives in the heart. I am sure your passion will never leave you, I hope that your situation improves soon, and you find your way back to this community.
nealf! im so sorry to hear this and i wish youa ll the best....but im gonna challenge you here!
im not sure i can imagine a situation where id have to give up something i love so dearly!?!?! so even if you sell all your fancy guitars, which must be a heartbreaker, how can you shut down that part of you that loves music and flamenco in particular??..the answer is you cant!!!!! like i said...i dont know what youre going through but i dont get it!! and it saddens me sligthly....buy a £40 guitar like flo says...
we are all different, have different paths etc but I just dont get this!
are you dying?? are you going to jail? getting sued for loads of cash???...**** even those examples would make me want flamenco even more!!!
I won't post on this thread anymore because well .... my kleenex box is almost empty .... again from the bottom of my heart I wish you all the very best.
'this really makes me sad and i cant leave it like that...what do you guys say ? we should raise some cash and all make some contribution to Nealf's $300 yamaha..
at least...a yamaha depending on how much we can raise
