Tell me about it....

Intensive research and related studies have shown that a Flamenco guitar student's progress, especially in picado techniques is dramatically influenced by the design of their practising area.

To be truly inspired and really feel that essential duende, why not sit and practise on proper Paco practising flooring?

Beautiful, yet durable and easy to clean with a soft damp cloth.

Sometimes you have to listen to stuff a few times before you start to get into it.



This could easily have been a Eurovision Song Contest outright winner if the guy had not stuck ridgidly to his artistic integrity.

Shame on you.

Here is the "Hommage to Paco", IMO the best track on the Album ....

damn i cant see the video atm..i have a loan computer from the pc shop while hes upgrading mine and i installed flashplayer but it still refuses to play youtube vids..i dont know what else to do

I do enjoy this, 'this rant has been impeccable. Of course I have nothing funny to say, because I am not that much of a funny guy, you know? Maybe you have a pill for that which I can take to be more funny like you, or perhaps get better at picado or something. You guys seem to have it and I don't. Oh what am I going to do? I read this entire thread and yet, I haven't learned anything new about duende, except that you all seem to have that covered as well. Am I inferior? No, but I will say after we get this thread over and done we can all get back to the flamenco.....and yet will I ever learn anything new and exciting on the foro? Perhaps I need sharp wit and yet some real flamenco knowlege to make it here, but as for this thread, I'm afraid that I just don't have it. Oh poo!

Just like Picado, Rasgueado, Alzapua, Compás, Aire.....

It's already there inside you.

No need to look for it.

You just need to practise letting it get out to the surface.

Folk like Paco and Tomatito etc just happened to be better at letting it get out.

Hahaha, it starts to sound more and more like Budism.
Well, like in many cultures flute playing is seen as "The path of the inner-travel" and good for your health, maybe flamenco, in his whole aspect, is the same.
