i've used this nick for a while...it's because it's his music that's made me pick up the guitar...and backwards because it looks cool and is not easy to spell and pronounce :D

I have been searching everyone for Tarantas tabs but seems very hard to find. If anyone has some Tarantas tabs can you please email them to me or give me a link to where I can find them..my email is Danny_18ca@yahoo.com

Does anyone have Claude Worm's Tientos-tangos-farruca volume 4-C? I'm curious about 2 falsetas in that book and I'd like to find out about them before I take a chance and drop 45 bucks.
Domenico Scarlotti Sonatas (in reply to Jon Boyes)
I did a search but came up with nothing... ALOHA everyone, does anyone know where I can find Tab for Domenico Scarlotti Sonatas Eminor - Emajor? Seems like there is tab for every sonata he did but these.... Thank god for this forum! I look forward to contributing... Thank you ahead of time!

Anyone has the tab of the bulerias de Jerez that Manolo Sanlucar plays in the film Flamenco, of Carlos Saura, they are so greeeeeat.
Is that the one where Manolo is sitting at a table with another guy in a hat, and there are 2 or 3 ladies singing in the background? If so, I don't have the tab, unfortunately. But isn't it GREAT!!!

Yeeeah, that is! Tran trabilitrabili tran tran traaaaaaaaaan!
RE: Make your request for tablature here (in reply to duende)
Yes, I thought it was an ALEGRIAS because of the "trabili tran tran tran" lyics, but some people are saying its a Bulerias De Cadiz. Hmm, I'm not sure. Anyway, its the last song on Manolo's "Tauromagia" CD and its called "Puerta Del Principe".
You have good taste!

DAMN that's a happy little tune if you watch the video
Couldn't explain why, but my feeling says the rasgueados in there are most definitely alegrías. How could you not know that - look at them all smiling!
I know Bulería de Cadiz is played in D as Sanlucar with the capo on 2, the rhythm guitarist is playing open in E though.

It's clear that it's not clear the palo, but i bet it's bulerías because Diego Carrasco is singing and he converts everything in bulerias de jerez. He has a very special sense of compas.
RE: Make your request for tablature here (in reply to mediocre)
On the Saura soundtrack and just about every where else I've looked is written alegrías. You're probably right though in that it's not clearly defined as someone else wrote Bulerías de Cadiz on Youtube.
Not big on splitting hairs usually, but it would interest me what's correct so I could know the difference, if there is any... (Sounds like a job for Ricardo)

I would like to learn Paco Pena's "Celosia" from Arte y Passion, but have had no luck finding any transcriptions for it. I will eventually sit down and figure it out, but was curious to see if anyone here knows how to play this =)

There is a long post somewhere around on this subject. Ricardo is in the Alegrias camp. I say it is bulerias. We both defend our positions using supporting arguments.
In the end nobody conclusively proved one way or the other.
Let's write Manolo an e-mail.
And he'd probably tell us to stop bugging him with such banal issues
Okay, I'll leave it alone.
To a more exciting subject: Sanlucar's left hand technique! Drives me crazy everytime I try to learn a falseta of his, I get blisters on my left index...
