Some other long concerts available in good quality. This is a nice duo concertPaco did with Mclaughlin in 1987. Very good playing overall, and a fantastic buleria solo at 50:25.

Nice concert. Thanks for sharing. It seems Paco became a bit irritated at 1:10:04 when someone yelled PACO! He then said "que" which means "what" in Spanish.

Nah, it's just a joke he does. Seen him do it in several videos... But it's cool regardless.

yep I've seen Joaquín Grilo breaking his heel twice also I had a very old video were the dancer (might be Joaquín) breaks his heel and funnily it regress back and hits paco making him irritated

everytime I watch his videos I just think to my self : damn there will never be anyone as good as paco
The last falseta he plays in the bulerias solo is just amazing. The whole thing is great but what a nice way to end it. Brilliant! (Too much thumb work on that last falseta though)

Notice how around 53:48 he switches the way he counts in his feet at the end of the falseta. I guess it shows how even Paco adjusts his counting based on the falseta. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Wow you guys still confused on the foot tap thing? For bulerias Paco often taps the Golpes you do with knuckles on a table it helps to lock in groove like a drummer uses hi hat for example.
Other thing is to mark the beat (which is and always was 12,2,4 ,6,8,10....if you must count to 12). For Paco the pivot beat is ALWAYS beat 10 (or 4) as that is the only beat that exists for the Golpe thing (1,2,4,5,7,8,10,11) AND the straight beat marking.
RE: The 1:40 Version of Paco's Conce... (in reply to Ricardo)
Great explanation Ricardo, but I think it really was just because his foot got tired. Go through the entire buleria solo and you'll notice several times where he interrupts the 1,2,4,5,7,8,10,11 and that happens in several different ways. This is why I said that his plan was to keep doing the above tapping all through out but you just can't keep doing that for 10 minutes continuously without your foot getting fatigued a bit and you having to change things up for a few seconds before going back to the original tapping scheme.
But I might be completely wrong, which seems to be a recurring theme nowadays.

You are wrong.... He can keep it forever as per some older vids. The pivot points always as I said 10 or 4 and for purpose of phrasing he changes the way marks.
RE: The 1:40 Version of Paco's Conce... (in reply to Ricardo)
Awesome. I haven't looked very carefully to make sure he keeps that foot tap going along the entire 10 minutes or so. (Internet didn't help me watch the entire video). I just assumed because when I tap my foot for long-ish times, it gets sore anteriorly and I have to rest it a bit or tap with my heel instead to change muscle groups. I guess PdL just says no to lactic acid build up the same way Chuck Norris built the barn he was born in with his bare hands.
