Sad thing is that those still unknown builders behind "Andalusian Guitars"
are maybe even better off with rather cheap marketing than those honest builders who ask the price their guitars are worth or even less than that.
All of that really seems to depend on random endorsement.

There are those who ask 4000$ for a really decent master grade guitar and those who ask 12000$, 21000$ for theirs. Of course this topic is discussed frequently here and I do not claim to contribute any final adjudgement about it, but for what the hell am I paying if it is not even for the prestigious luthier's name on the paper inside.

"Sobrinos de Esteso" is prestigious.

But without this discussion here I would never have heard of "Andalusian Guitars". I would probably not have noticed that such a name refers to an actual brand, because there is no luthier's name.

My next guitar will be one of those honest builders I can idealize for their hard work!

Umm, got me curious too, so I have to ask amirdeiran why your first post on this forum:

http://www.foroflamenco.com/tm.asp?m=111624&appid=&p=&mpage=1&key=&tmode=&smode=&s=#111624

is the same content as posted by a Ruben Diaz on these other forums in May/June last year:

http://www.acousticguitar.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=000031
http://www.guitarsalon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10988

No posts from you since that day until now, when you leap to the "defence" of Ruben.

Right now, I believe that these posts are from the same person, who is in need of some classes on Internet marketing strategies and the power of the community.

They are not the same. At least the signatures are different. [:D]

Seriously, I also found this sentence from amirdeiran's previous post:
"People that really do things and people that talks about those who really do things… "

repeated here by Ruben:

Arash -> RE: who is behind "Andalusian Guitars" ? (Feb. 7 2010 4:25:43)

So far I'm not planning to do so, because I can't afford one of Anders's Blancas right now, but Maybe within this year I can (At least I can dream of it). Will be difficult to give away my Sanchis, though. I really love it's sound.

Escribano -> RE: who is behind "Andalusian Guitars" ? (Feb. 7 2010 5:25:22)

This thread is now drifting aimlessly. The manufacturers, promoters and
supporters of these guitars are not willing to respond to the core question
posed by this thread and reveal "who is behind the Andalusian Guitars". It
is time to lock the thread, but it will be preserved under a new Forum topic
"Product Reviews" [to introduce and promote or review and comment on products].
It will serve as good reference material regarding these instruments, in the
internet library.

Of course, as this question remains unanswered, it may lead to adverse
inferences about the guitars, leaving behind legitimate doubts and
speculations. Therefore, we invite those who are promoting these guitars to
dispel the negative perception they have conjured on the foro, by providing
answers and more information about their products.
