RE: Ricardo's CD Finally available (in reply to rombsix)
I am a little late on this..... i am moving to a new flat so i didnt have much time and couldnt visit the foro during the last days
But after reading this topic,,,,i ordered my copy within seconds...... I dont want to hear the samples in advance.....i want to be totally surprised by the compositions
p.s. i would have paid even 20$ for shipping and 30$ for the CD.... ...after your help and your kind behaviour during this long time in the foro which is worth much more!
Congrats Ricardo...cant wait to receive my copy from Ramin

After the first listen the standout tracks for me are the rodena, the second bulerias, the alegrias, the solea.
Overall, this is fantastic. Rock-solid, tasteful, impeccably played, inspiring. I could go on, and start heaping the superlatives, but I'll just sum up my reaction with a simple and sincere "ole", and leave it at that. Good work, sir.

Hello Richard,
Well.... there's just not enough great things that I can say about the CD. I just got it the other day and I've played the crap out of it. I can't get enough. Fantastic compositions. They are all very personal. The rumba is very catchy and unique. The Solea is incredible. All of the Bulerias knocked my socks off!!
Congrats!!
Un saludo, Errol
P.S. ToddK..... not a bad job on capturing the sound!! Congrats too!.

I received my copy today, and have been listening to it non stop for the last few hours. I'm completely blown away. Congratulations, you must be very proud!

Congrats on this achievement, Ricardo! Truly an artist. The website, however, is quite unwieldy, and it did bring my machine to a complete halt with all the lag. I was thoroughly enjoying the sample pieces before it crashed my machine!
Ramin should, perhaps, set up a pay per mp3 download system. Saves people shipping, and allows them to be picky about which songs they want.

Ricardo you are too generous. No really you are. 52 minutes!! Most players give about 35 and save the rest for their next album!!
I thought the whole thing was phenomenal. Perfect, clean playing, great variety. All of it was fantastic though if I had to choose, the Solea por Bulerias rocked the floor under my feet. And the Tangos. Well yeah, like I said, all of it.
Nice touches on the cover too - a glass of manzanilla next to the guitar - my favourite! But who is the good looking bloke playing guitar in the centre pages?

Hi Ricardo, Got your CD today. Hugely impressed! The first things I always listen to when I put on a new CD.. Soniquet and then Ritmo...otherwise it's not really worth going on with IMO. You've got it all!! Not a trace of "accent" as a lot of "extranjeros" show. With yourself, I hear lots of great new ideas and virtuostic playing, but still paying respect to what's gone before. This album will certainly live comfortably amongst my collection of Flamenco albums. I'm sure even Gerardo or any of them must listen to this as a serious piece of work. Great crystal-clear Engineering from Todd too!

Came fast! Just got it today.
Great stuff! Pieces, playing, recording, all first class. Definitely up there with my other favorites. Where the hell do you get the inspiration from???
Congratulations, well done!
John
