RE: The most beautiful Bulerias fals... (in reply to metalhead)
I always felt Paco de lucías "Punta del faro" was the best traditional style bulerías, could have been just that one off performance but it has a lot of magic for some reason.
The bulerías by Enrique del Melchor on Cuchichi has a similar magical quality, not sure what it is but for me one of the best sounding guitars ever recorded. Both this and the previous have this unusual "Majestic" quality.
I was impressed or surprised by the outro arpegio that is quite soft and delicate on Antonio Rey's "Colores del Fuego" the first bulería. The rest of it is more hard driving traditional Jerez style then the ending comes out of nowhere, very nice.

Both have a slightly "destorted and harsh" recording sound, with lots of "punch" in midrange. I guess the way they did the Paco recording (old school natural tape saturation, old school reverb) gets this sound. And I guess they reproduced that sound in Enrique's case.
