We were once burgled. The tv was still there but the plates were gone.
Have you seen the price of washing up liquid too?
LUXURY!!
You had a house to be burglarized!
We lived in three cardboard refrigerator delivery boxes that we glued together with our own saliva and the guts of roadkill squirrels! We found cardboard boxes behind a discount appliance store and glued three together and seven of us lived in it and were glad as we were the well offs in my street, by god.
You are privileged to have grown up with a plate! We had tree bark plates and we trained he dog to wipe them clean with her shaggy tail. Our dog cleaned the plates until she died, then we cleaned them in quicksand and pine needles.
You grew up in the lap of luxury and tales !
And we were proud of our refrigerator box shelter! And it would have been a step up to be targeted by burglars. They payed no mind to box dwellers like us! We were too humble to be robbed like you rich plate flaunting bastards!

Meh, Liverpool Riverstuhl, we had it tough in Yorkshire. You basturds from Liverpool just formed rock bands and made fortunes. Us in Yorkshire had to work at the mills and not 2% of us survived past 12 year old, and we got beaten hard by the boss. Don’t talk to me about your easy Liverpub life, just quaffing pints and getting a fish & finger pie every night. Pure hedonistism in Liverpool.

You think I can afford to make Scouse?
Yeah, kind of a beef stew. My mum used to basically stick everything in a pressure cooker when we were young. Stewing steak, potatoes, carrots, onions, gravy etc etc. Nothing special but tasted great.

Turkish stew is great too.
Made a stew last week (no pics though sorry).
In my experience, if you have the time, don't use pressure cooker for anything. Much better taste if you let the stew cook for 3 hours or so with very low heat, adding the potatoes, carrots etc in the last 30 to 40 minutes. But the meat gets so tasty and tender with low temp and time. Also make a LOT of it. It gets even tastier after a day or two in the fridge and warmed up again. Food for dayyyys. I do the same with all the different iranian stew like stuff too.

I totally agree. 50 years ago pressure cookers were kind of all the rage and latest tech etc. My mum was a good cook, and I think the previous generations were. Now people eat ready meals from supermarkets too much.

I’d encourage you to make a vegetarian scouse with vegetable bullion, but the only thing that could possibly make you more annoying is if you preached about being a vegan. 🥑 😂
