Sosegá. El palo sin prisa.

This just came out a couple of days ago. It's a fairly slick production which appears to have been sponsored by Cervezas Alhambra.

Made me miss Granada.

Upon further searching, the first video is really just an advert for a new Javier Limón release. I should slow down before posting, lol. At any rate, here's a link to the song itself.

somewhat interesting how the dance group there was making a new "compás" by extracting the first 8 counts of Soleá then cycling back (as opposed to normal 8 count phrases that accent 2,4, then 6,7).

opens with media Granaina (poor carmen is loosing that voice), then they do this weird partial soleá compás in sections. At 5:33 to 8:30 is like a double time rumba, but in 8 counts (they only accent count 4 of 8, but you can feel the second half the same as the first). It returns to the weird 8 count soleá at the end.

Morante will hate this.

My batting average is very high when it comes to posting stuff that Morante hates. 😂

I’ve kind of stopped worrying about it. He knows I mean well. 🙂

the views are quite spetacular , and very well filmed, so good that all flamenco seemed secondary.

The dance class with a view, the horse scene etc
