Beautiful, Morante. It is a beautiful resonator guitar, although I am tempted to call it a "Dobro," which is a specific niche of resonator. Do you know how to play it already? Or are you going to learn? Bluegrass? modified "country"? The Dobro (resonator) has such a beautiful sound. Have fun and enjoy it.

Sounds great and is well set up: I shall use it for blues. I have to get used to it so to begin with, I am using standard tuning, which I learned from Rory Gallagher, who used to alternate between pick and slide on his Strat, but this makes a walking bass difficult. Later I will try heavier strings and open tuning

Gibson bought the rights to the name Dobro (sin verguenza) although their Dobros are not highly regarded. The rest have to settle for resonator.

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments.

Always fancied one myself, good luck with it.

Very nice. I like messing about with open G tuning on my steel string Seagull. I use a metal slide and pretend I'm Keith Richards or George Throughgood!! I'd love to try some on a resonator...
