Speaking of 'compensation', can any other luthiers and some of the doctors and scientists here help me out please?
See I have a male body, but I can only build guitars which people consider "machos" and I feel like it goes against my inner hormonal orientation. That is to say I am thinking me and my guitars need to be more Yin and less Yang, less tin and more bang.
First off I'm not loud enough and my inclination is to classical couture like 1940's Channel, but my frame is much too big and needs cutting down. So I was thinking about having a skeletal reduction and a boob job so I would be 3" shorter and girthier in the chest area. Then when I wear high heels or Gallardi flamenco shoes I will be average height and not towering above everyone aqukwardly at 6' 4".
What kinds of tools will I need? Do you think I can do this it some whiskey as a bracer and then shoot myself full of novacaine ? And where is the best place to buy some used but still good lady parts?

buy some feminine hormone pills, eat half the package and the for the rest: make them into a powder and mix it with your hide glue And make a pink and purple rosette

Hi Stephanie... is it OK to call you that? So its 'Cher-bay' for the body parts , a good open market full of bargains but watch out for cheap American plastic parts...need regular maintenance and are prone to attracting the wrong sort of attention. Another requirement will be to change your online name too ....instead of ' estebanana' I was thinking perhaps 'lack-a-banana' ....I think it has more of a female ring to it and will easily attract the comments you seek from a more discerning customer. With regard to the skeletal reduction.....no need, just eat loads of cream cheese and try to 'age' as quickly ass possible....you will shrink naturally and its far less aggressive than Novocaine which can bring out the 'machos' in you all over again. Finally spend as much time as you possibly can with sheep....very woolly and smell real bad...will help make you think twice about being a' female form ' around heavy handed men and dogs. Your call though. Enjoy the ride if you do go for it....perhaps a video diary and a follow up mini series on an obscure satellite TV channel if things slot into place as you hope?

My mind, it goes to weird places- I think many of the posts in the luthiery section are brought on by madness or ringers, fake profiles. You see strange questions from profiles that have one post and you must think, is someone just getting one on and sitting back laughing?
For example, if a poster says I have built eight guitars, but I wish to chop the back off a classical and rebuild it, you think are you nuts? Why? Just build another damn guitar. But some people just don't see the world that way, and in the case of the guys who just getting one over, he revels in the fact that everyone takes it seriously.
Set up a chop shop see if I care!
See Pink you get jokes, you're like Ron. Ah, satisfying to be understood once in a while.

stephen, the cost of reassignment surgery is damn expensive and insurance generally pays very little so you are going to have to sell a lot of guitars to pay for you to become cher.
as to the poster wanting to chop up a classical--yeah, that post seemed werid but i am not sure he got the amusement he was seeking if that was his motive.
