I came across this last night, and i was wondering has he down tuned one of his strings or is it the video quality? Because his guitar sounds a bit like a Sitar.

THe real treasure of the video starts around 42 minutes to the end. Both artists have passed away already, its sad. At 1:14:50 he explains the half compas remate for cante we discussed a lot in the cante accomp thread. I attribute this not only to "jerez" style, but specifically Manual Morao, his uncle.
