Dani de Morón album

it's out now finally and I have to say it's a must buy for all fans of modern flamenco toque... fortunately, the album is not in line with the current annoying (to me) trend of making it sound like pop music at places with instruments alien to flamenco and the occasional cheesy cante chorus here and there... there is some truly terrific playing there, with exciting rhythmical variations, and lots of slow emotional music...the toque is extremely clean, which is great, but here comes the downside of the trend - it's so clean it has been sterilized, it offers much less dynamics than i would have expected... in style DDM is similar to the other DDM, son of Moraíto, so if you guys like his music, you will find this album entertaining, but void of all the poppyness...
