My two-pennorth, for what it's worth, is that it is a very good plan, because as a newbie, there is so much stuff on Youtube you get tired of looking. Some of it's obviously great, some of it may not be, but if there's a channel "Foroflamenco" where you get advice, recommendations, examples and so on it would be easier. I was amazed at all the different terms and types of music, I'm only just getting used to that.
If the first example you ever saw was a Paco concert, you may well give up before you've even started
I think in the channel there should be www.foroflamenco.com much better visible. Im not familiar with such stuff.. so, I hope others can edit that. I will hand over the password to Ron and escribano. They can snap it if they like to.
Thats just the beginning. so..all what comes now could be added. And if you upload in particular for the foro, include information where to find the foro please. A link back to the foro would be cool.
Ok guys and Admins. What do you think? Cool thing that could grow and also support the foro? Or no go ,..contra productive?

looks great man !! ok looking at them now i think its nice to have users name included in the title somewhere...but i guess that is up each individual user to do...so perhaps we can keep this in mind when uploading video and it ends up there or you can add it in editing, renaming...would be nice to know straight away who is who in relation to the forum, cause sometimes username on youtube and the name here aren't the same

Yeah I think if anybody is interested in getting recognized..this person should add his foro-name in the headline.
And..I don´t think we need to personalyze the videos. The palo is more important than the player. If you like a player.. you will find him. It would be too much work anyways to include the name somewhere...its almost too much effort to add a single video..haha
Well, if somebody wants to get in the list and we miss a video.PM me the links to the foro threads or..we just go from now. Only foro uploaded videos should be included. No other stuff. So no direct youtube links pls.
I wasnt able to find older stuff so quickly. so,
Option no3 is: we delete the whole thing and forget about it.
I want to hear especially what Escribano thinks because I dont want to start anything that could be counterproductive to the foro. In that case..I´ll delete it immediately.

Its a fake, I will take it down. It was meant as joke on too long picado runs that arent music anymore...sawy for the confusion..I don´t know why I put it up there. Well its 3 finger tirando..its not that fast..its more about coordination. I´ll post a composition soon where I use it without tricks probably at that speed. Then I feel better about it..haha

i dont understand..the "trick" part...if you didn't speed it up artificially its great, its fast and clear...its a technique, no more a trick than anything else we do in flamenco and it sounds great...i could imagine something like this work very nicely for a cool short bulerias remate
like you hear those nice super fast short bursts repetative buleria remates on the base notes to end a compas, almost sound like a strum or rasqueado rather than single note picking
i am not talking about the fairly known ones that Paco introduced and everyone did for a while...more the repetitive ones...hope u know what i mean...Jeronimo uses a few...its a very nice effect

Yeah I only use it for short runs of about 7 notes max. Its pretty useful since my 2 finger picado is slow.

This is really good , I just got back from a journey and had a little look , the best thing about it is that is organized So now we can find what we want reasonably quickly . I think that over a very short period of time this list will be added to and become 1.really big 2. A fantastic resource for study and learning.
I think that somehow people should have to join the foro to get the free access, after all its a small thing to ask after all the work done in making the whole thing.......
,,,finally , I also think that this now superceeds the falseta swap shop.....

Had a great time. A real 'flamenco feast'. Especially valuable resource for a non-techie dumbo like me, struggling to make some sense out of all the garbage on You Tube. . .

Hahaha no award please. Its cool that you like it! And I hope Escribano leaves it. ^^ If its going to stay I would suggest that we include some more volunteers who add new videos. Because I won´t see all I guess..
A cool thing would be if it would be reachable from the foro with a link somewhere. Like it is now, the link will be gone after a few more comments.
And Florian!! LOL ... When did I write that?? "You know what I hate it. going to delete it" ? xD And.. what were I talking about? I can´t remember.
