RE: Gerardo Núnez - Hacía Mi (Rond... (in reply to xirdneH_imiJ)
Hmm. I don't know where I got it, but I have a 10 minute version of this piece that was cut from Jucal, but it's 15 MB so I can't upload it directly to the Foro...

yes you're right Daniel I checked the version on Jucal and it's 9:26!
That's strange. I bought the US edition of the CD from Amazon and the last track on that is "A la Nana". Maybe this was a Europe exclusive or something?

The usa version came out in 1996 and they added 3 cuts from "yerma" a dance show of Carmen Cortez. Duendecillo, Luna something or other, and Nana. He reprised parts of it on his last CD, probably not realizing they did that to USA verson of Jucal. Hacia mi was NOT included, I think cuz it was too much cante for USA market? (Allula records was headed by Angel Romero at the time and he was trying to promote Gerardo for US tours). It suks, but some of the Rondeña is included in Luna, but its not as good as the original version.
The original Jucal was a different track order and came out in 1994. Also there is a compilation of flamenco called "Duende" that I bought years ago and the piece "Jucal" is different then the album version. He changed a note in the intro and then it has different EQ compression reverb etc. I will upload it in audio uploads. http://www.foroflamenco.com/tm.asp?m=196463&p=1&tmode=1&smode=1
