I believe this guy is related to El Viejin, Jesus de Rosario, Ramon Jimenez, and El Entri. He seems to be an excellent player; although, some of his videos are a bit, how do I say...cheezy. Given his lineage, I'd like to take him seriously. Does he have any recordings yet?
Yes this guy is incredible..... I have communicated with him a few times and he is a very nice guy. From what I gather he is quite a character....He is the same guy that posted the video of the guitarra de aluminio....or aluminum....some people actually believed it....
One interesting thing about one of my conversations with him is...he told me he is planning to launch a world tour in the near future and will be coming to the states. He specifically mentioned Miami.....I don't know how firm his plans are yet or when this is going to happen..... But he promised I could get back stage to meet him.....
Cool, he told me exactly the same. I wonder how many people would gather backstage then. ;P
Where did you find his album? I didn't see it on Flamenco World, iTunes, anywhere... I know those YouTube clips have been up for a while, but I thought he was supposed to have an album coming out soon. Is "Nueve Reinas" the new album?

I asked him directly. But you can find it. Search for Anton Gimenez and not Jimenez. You´ll see. The CD is not new anymore..but was never really published.. Maybe he sells it just on concerts.
