Better yet, I think I'll just avoid this thread altogether lol! I just can't risk it.
I have it for the 360 but have not played it yet. I'm almost afraid to start it, all the Elder Scrolls games are pure crack! Being a veteran of Oblivion, I have high hopes for Skyrim.
There arent many game threads so im posting it here. Strangely i have more fun to WATCH somebody else play a game, than playing? Besides i stopped playing fps and stuff, and only play rts at the moment. Anyway, watch this video from 14-19 minutes, and youll have the laugh of your lifetime
Was fighting a Dragon. Two actually! Miner by the name of Pavos thinks it's a good idea to come and fight one of them with a pickaxe. Dude gets the dragon maw. Next thing I know, a stark naked courier runs up to me with a note staring that this guy died, the Jarl took his cut and this Pavos fella left the rest to me in his will. Skyrim is a weird place...
Yeah skyrim is a strange place, I stole something from a shop and the shop keeper appeared not to have noticed as she raised no alarm...then a day later I was rushed by some "hired thugs"..after killing them I recovered a note from one of their bodies with instructions, from said shop keeper, to teach me a lesson. I promptly returned to her shop and taught her a lesson...now I feel bad..but Ive got loads of new stuff!!! Haha. Arash have you been playing modern warfare 3? We should meet online for a game!!
skyrim is an OK game, should have gone for the pc version though
Lately Im more of a fan of shooters and getting a bit dragged back into esports and stuff... I am much better at gaming than I am at the guitar though , so I dont play too much anymore and devote most of my life to the guitar.
If anyone happens to be playing online games on the pc using steam my nickname there is milkdream
I have a few games, cs 1.6, css, mw2,mw3,BO,battlefield bad company 2, I also have battlefield 3...
Since we're all dorking out in here ... Dark Souls anyone??!
I saw Dark Souls at a friend's house and immediately bought Demon's Souls. It's probably one of the best and most stressful games I've ever played. I've got to admit my guitar playing has suffered, but I figure I'll eventually beat the game and stop playing - the guitar will always be a part of my life.
See the thread of gounaro... SKYRMIM is definitively a time killer.. So no chance I get my hands on it.. I have alrady too less time to practice.. Just got home from work and its 11.20pm now. Just imagine I would play games now.. hmm... or chat... eeh.. I think I´ll go for some rounds of starcraft2 now. Ciaoooooo guyyyss ~ have to kick some virtual ASS!! xD
I have a friend who's played Dark Souls 3 times through already. Apparently it's a pretty hardcore game; you die a lot. When the game's website is called preparetodie .com .... well, u get the picture lol!
It's a stressful game, from what I've seen at my friend's house. Not my cup of tea. I DO like how other players travel through your world and leave notes and things for you to read. A lot of them leave bad advice: my buddy walked into some hole in the floor and died, and I was like, "why did u do that??" lol, some guy left a note saying that hole was a short cut, aahahaa. 0wN'd!
Dark Souls is fantastic, and everything you read about it is true. It's a totally stressful, demoralizing and punishing game, you'll die A LOT learning what you can and cannot do. I find most games too easy, so this has been a welcome change. I never played Demon Souls and probably won't because of how much time I've wasted playing Dark Souls!! Definitely not good for guitar practice - Doit has the right idea in not even buying a game in the first place. Way too tempting to throw on a game at the end of a busy work day instead of practicing I recently finished my first play through and just started my second. There is lots of re-playability, which I guess is a good and bad thing The online portion can be a lot of fun as you can invade other players and vice versa - I've never been into online gaming but in this game I find it very entertaining.
I'm not buying Skyrim because it seems people are getting equally addicted to that one. I do have Zelda: Skyward Sword next in the queue, though. I've been playing Zelda games for over 20yrs, I couldn't NOT buy that one!
I just played Skyrim for the first time yesterday and I really need to second doit and say it is definitely a time killer game the game seems very interesting but I just felt overwhelmed little bit, There's so much to do, so much to see and so many choices to make ... just so many details many books , secrets... creating weapons and potions etc ... its just too much but i love it
hahaha marduk, great comment ... but just let me correct you its an "An Arrow In The Knee" not "An Arrow to The Knee"... LOL sorry man just couldn't resist
