Nail hardening.

Am just back into Flamenco after being away for many years (unfortunately). What products are now popular for hardening/re-enforcing nails please?

i have long recommended a product called: "no more wraps". it is pulvarized kevlar in an epoxy solution. it provides added hardness with some flexion which is needed as a laminate (in this case nail and kevlar) that does not have some flexion has a lower threshold for breakage--i.e., a brittle laminate. as an added bonus, it has a matte finish rather than a glossy finish--looks more natural. you can find it at a salon supply house, on-line or at the pharmacy.

try not to use anything if you can.

lately, i've been using superglue on the tips and maybe with some tissue paper if needed.

before, i used opi nail envy matte, which was harder and more durable than other stuff that i've tried. perfectly fine for practice at home.

Krazy Glue with a brush. Or any nail glue with cyanoacrilate and a brush
