I think it would be cool (useful) if the 'where are you from' field or whatever it is called in the profiles was mandatory. I met 2 people from Ottawa on this forum, I think they found me because I have it in mine.
I'll write Santa, but then again, I haven't been a good boy.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks that.
And if you don't want to tell then you can write "Planet Earth" and if you REALLY don't want to see anyone you can write "Delta Quadrant" (Yeah I like Star Trek!)

good idea. i think ron requested this a few months ago.
Christ!...a few months ago?
I've been asking this since ForoFlamenco started.
Clearly some folk are too worried about being personally identified right down to their name, address and telephone number on the Internet because of saying they come from the USA, Russia, UK, Canada, Australia etc and talking about the underground, subversive and perverted art of Flamenco.

I'll start by telling you guys I am originally from Holland, but right now I live in Milwaukee, WI, USA!......I'd be curious to know where everyone is from as well.

In the last month:
264,012 page views (3.1 million per year) 39,472 unique visitors from 122 countries and 2,902 cities around the World.
Not all members of course, but it makes you think doesn't it?
Top Ten 1. United States 2. United Kingdom 3. Canada 4. Australia 5. Spain 6. Germany 7. Netherlands 8. France 9. Switzerland 10. Hungary
In case you are wondering about Spain, we got visits from 74 Spanish cities last month, averaging 6 minutes per visit, so I guess they are understanding English well enough... and Hungary? 16 cities.

Highly embarrassing if you're caught....
Oh, now I get it. Like the Farenheit 451 of Flamenco, they'le come and burn your guitars!!!

great Photos Florian. I look so short though lol. have a great night at fiesta tomorrow. i didnt know what day it was on, until just now. so i will probably miss it (i just saw the facebook thing)
come down man, tickets are cheap...it will be fun to catch up and see everyone...what u gonna do at home ?...id offer you free tickets but i have already asked for 3 comps for some friends
rogeliocan.. sorry my photos are so big, i was just gonna post one but once i started i couldn't stop...hope i am not intruding on your thread
i have arranged a ticket. i will be there. i would never miss it intentionally. I just didnt know it was happening so soon (you were not sure of the date when i was at your place last)
is it one of those iphones? the lady in the shop talked me into applying for one, then they went in a little room out the back and made some phone calls, then they said i cant have one
i hear you can get a pretty decent sounding flamenco compas application for under 3 dollars on it

That culd also have to do with the economical crisis in spain discussion and new CD releases we discuss here. The crisis it a very big issue atm.. People get here via google see that they dont understand anything and leave. There can´t be so many people in spain who understand english... lol

No worries, I already got my answer. Nice pictures by the way. But you guys in Australia really do everything upside down, here in Canada it's the front of the girl we chew on
But reading the rest of this thread it's clear that it would be useful to write the city and country where you're from in your profile. So 1, 2, 3 GO! Everybody do it!
