Pinky finger in Rasgueado's? 
Hi guys, this is my first post at foro flamenco, and I just thought I'd ask about a problem that's been bugging me almost since I started learning flamenco guitar 2 years ago. My pinky finger always seems very tense at the base knuckle when I'm doing rasgueado's. Sometimes it doesn't want to flick out at all- other days it works fine. All my other techniques are coming along smoothly but this one, I just cant seem to get any consistency. Any tips/exercises anyone can recommend to improve?

many pro players dont' ever use the pinky at all. Focus more on other techniques and re introduce it later if you feel you NEED to. I personally don't show new students anything with the pinky until they are comfy doing other techniques or just using ami rasgueados.

I like to use the pinky
I use it in Rasgueado , Tremelo and arpeggios.
I think you can improve it by doin some arpeggios addin the pinky at the end also doing slow picados like .. with pinky and 'finger a' for ex .
