Flamingo guitar on steel strings . . .

Just surfing YouTube while I was on my lunch break and stumbled across an instructional video on playing flamenco. It's presented by a young lady (seriously easy on the eye) who's going to teach me how to play flamingo (or is that flaminco) guitar.

She's playing it on steel strings, and I was on the floor laughing.

At least I know now why I'm having trouble - I haven't got enough fingers. I didn't stop to count hers, but she seems to have 5 fingers on her right hand . . . I'm not laughing at her, I'm laughing with her!

I've seen her before. I may have even posted it in a Rasgeo thread. Sounds just like Hotel California.

Thank god she slowed it WAY down for us. Neither my eye's nor ears could keep up with her.

if she wasn't talking about something she knows zero about, and she was in a bar or something then perhaps......but this is a major turn off for me...even if it was adriana lima (google her if ya dont know) in this video...she would lose all sex appeal as soon as she started strumming!...actually..i may forgive her

I've reinstalled Chrome and it's working now. I don't know what happened there...

Just didn't want to use snail-paced Explorer.

By the way I was disappointed about "easy on the eye" part after finally being able to see what was going on...

Listen, when you get to my age it's a bonus if they're female and still have a pulse. Half my age and they're 'easy on the eye'

Anyway...

The new Marine Captain was assigned to command a company in a remote post in the desert.

During his first inspection, he noticed a camel hitched up behind the mess tent.

He asks the First Sergeant why the camel is kept there.

"Well, sir," is the nervous reply, "as you know, there are 250 men here and no women. And sir, sometimes the men have ... m-m-m.... urges. That's why we have the camel, sir."

"Uh, no sir," the First Sergeant replies. "They usually just ride the camel into town where the girls are."
