Best commerical cutaway for rumba gi...

Anyone have an opinion on this? I remember Ricardo once noted that a colleague had a Takamine I think it was that was great for rumba. Most GK studios I've heard have left me unimpressed, but Ramzi makes his sound good. The thing about rumba electric nylons is they need not be flamenco, they can be classical as well. Maybe the rosewood gives a better tone for chords or maybe not Im not really sure.

does anyone think its better to look for problend than fishman, would that make a difference?

probably not a lot of rumba sympathy in the house

I use the fishman problend, it is nice, you will only use the mic just a touch or else it feels to boxy and unnatural. But that little bit does give the sound more body over just a ust pickup.

Also fwiw I played a Córdoba gk pro negra at gc and thought the gk studio negras there were better. Thought I would mention it in case you are considering those. Neither are great though I would look into, depending On your budget, kremona (try first), Alhambra, camps, or sanchis Lopez if you are set on factory guitars.
If you do go for Córdoba make sure you play the exact guitar you are going to buy, the biggest knock against cordobas is there lack of consistency, having said that some can be good guitars for sure.

If you are not set on a factory guitar and are willing to spend more $ think about getting a lesser known luthier to build you a handmade 2a for 2k give or take

Thanks for the comment, I didnt know Fishman and Problend were the same

What Im looking for is a guitar I can buy used between like $600-1000 range

Basically I like playing really saccharine, gay sounding romantic rumba and executing dramatic, over the top picado melodies so mawkish they would embarrass Mexican telenovela scriptwriters so I want a guitar that can deliver more cheese than a brick of Manchego
