Video of some Rumbas on number 93 (c...

A few P. Peña falsetas and yes, I know that the first ones I dont play "correctly", but I´m like that
The guitar works very well with this kind of flamenco and in general works very well in most palos and styles. Maybe not my favorite for taking to a Jerez juerga, but very nice and inspiring when home alone.

A rumba from Anders??? Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Olé! I liked it, rythm is a little shaky, a wrong bass note towards the end, but overall I like the vibe!
And the guitars sounds strong (especially in the mids?!)!

Thanks all of you.
Yeah, I should have posted it in the other section. I was tired when I posted and I was in the Luthiery section and I didnt think. Its a bit late to change now... sorry.
But it doesnt matter to much. I posted this video mostly because of all the discussions we have about classical and flamenco guitars which IMHO very often have very little to do with reality.

Ok you were right about the H7, its not a G, but really, play the same thing with G at the end

i was going to post a video playing your lick, for fun of course, but i dont have time to play guitar let alone record/cut/post a video exams next week.

After listening to yours and Andy's cedar top, its indeed about the construction rather then the choice of woods.

Listening more to those videos , I'm starting to think that a cedar top blanca sounds good when you play alone , without any other guitar/palmas/percussion in the background , rather than a clear spruce top that sound best with Accompanying (at least so i think)

I think we all would do better if we forgot our ideas of sound and started listening without using our eyes.
You can use cedar the way you want. I´m not saying its better than spruce, but you can build cedar guitars for everything. Remember that this particular guitar is NOT a flamenca blanca. Its a hybrid, it has a deeper body and another bracing system than my flamenca blancas.
My own experience with trying guitars when accompanying singers is that they prefer the guitars which are not to bright and percussive....... That goes against all prejudices as well.

Deniz, if havetnt taken anything, then maybe you shoud start,,, and stop spamming my guitar with sweet ole Alabama.

Hey Deniz.
I know... I was just joking. Go ahead, spam all you want. I dont mind...
I found it to be fun to have my version of a P. Peña Rumba compared to "Sweet old Alabama" I´m sure you have a cowboyhat hidden somewhere that you take out and use when noone sees you.

Thanks Kevin
As I said before, to many have to many thoughts on how cedar, spruce or other tonewoods sound. Very often these thoughts are not based on listening but on myth.
