Nickname for the guitar

Hi!

Do you use any nicknames for your guitar? Maybe something spanish, maybe referring to the color, the wood, etc? I wonder, whether it's usual to have a nickname for the guitar. Sometimes I think I should have one for my 'baby', but never settled to something concrete.

Thanks,
Sianturi

But sometimes I call her "you stupid, stubborn bitch"
I don't know if that counts ?

Now that definitely rings bells! ... and cracks me up!!! I have used similar epithets from time to time, but detailing them might "lock" the thread.

Well, my instructor likes to call it a wh*re. The more beat up it is, the more of a wh*re it is.

when I don't play loud enough, he says "make the wh*re scream!"

Oh,

I see the majority here won't give their guitars names that express deep admiration...not even the status of a good buddy is given to the guitars...

Ok, so I will out myself here...I never speak/argue with my guitar. But I usually introduce her to my friends as my 'baby'. Sometimes I think it's more cool to use a spanish term...any proposals?

Thx,
Sianturi

Actually, my Guitar is faithful and also very shy!
And she also doesnt like to be touched by anyone except me.
Whenever i have visit from my friends, she hides away in her case!

An Anders blanca peghead, very pale with ebony trim, so she's my "Ice Queen" or "Reina de Hielo"

- Blondie for my natural blanca

- Carmen for my orange tinted Conde(Carmen, as in Carmen Conde of the Gravina shop)

-Adriana for my Aaron Green Negra

Don't have any biatches as names for my guitars....its usually my geetars that make me sound like the biatch :(

I think to give a guitar a name is not a good idea. Its a thing of dayly usage, not more. And if I find anywhere one which fits better on me, I sell my old one. If you give it a name,it can become hard for you.... But its just a tool.

It is full-length and in post-production at the moment; available in the New Year.
