well, most of the teachers i have encountered (in southern cal) charge about $50, sometimes $60/hr...and with regards to the teachers that do the $100/hr gigs, within that hour, the audience can get 4-7 pieces of music, juxtaposed to MAYBE 2 compas' that is taught with a one hr lesson, so i think $35 for half an hr is way too much, unless, of course, its paco de lucia, then that would be a deal! juben
