hey all, i dont know if this has already been asked (because im fairly new here), but what kind of guitar does everyone play or, to be more general, own?
I own a Yamaha CG171SF Flamenco blanca. But one day I hope to upgrade to a Conde Hermanos or an Anders Blanca.
Better learn how to play first, though! There's nothing worse than a tw*t with a thousand pound guitar that he can only play 2 chords on!
Jb
As for other guitars, I own Gibson SG, a Hohner GT3 (Steinberger Headless liscenced copy), and I've just sold my Ibanez electro-acoustic... she was a beauty!

What did you call me?
LOL, well, actually I was referring to myself... its so easy to fall in love with a great guitar, and hope it will turn you into Paco De Lucia. But in the back of your mind, you always know that a great guitar will not necessarily make you a great player!
I have a few axes. My gig guitar is a Cordoba Gypsy Kings model. I never thought I would be caught dead with one, but they have a cutaway so they're great for jamming. You can plug it right in and not have to worry about mics. Plus it's very light to carry and play.
I also own a Francisco Navarro, a very nice looking negra. Which I am thinking about selling. This was the easiest to play guitar I ever owned until I got...
A 2003 Tezanos Perez flamenco. This thing is pure butter. A gorgeous guitar with good tone for classical or flamenco. Kind of a hybrid.
c, welcome to the Jose Rodriguez club. I have a primera especial. Prepare to hold the lightest guitar you've ever owned. Did you get it through Jose Conde?
Yes, I like it very much, it's fun to play y suena muy seca. It's becoming one of my favs. I recorded this clip with it. Post clips and pics when you get yours.
Oh, forgot what this thread was about. These are my flamencos:
A.Pantoja blanca Vicente Sanchis blanca Ricardo Sanchis negra Conde A 26 Pantoja blanca #2 Benito Huipe blanca (pegs) Jose Rodriguez primera especial blanca Ricardo sanchis blanca J. Luis Postigo negra (Pau Ferro) made by the Sanchis boys
Hmmmm......I'm starting to agree with "them", I have too many guitars. Hey Todd, wanna geetar.
The guitar looks really cool. If it sounds so good too and its good playable. Than you have a great guitar. If you wanna sell it in future, you should take away the black golpeador. Behind it, there could be all kind of damages..I would never buy a guitar which has a white or black golpeador coz of the hidden damages.
doitsujin, i actually had the black golpeador installed by art valdez out here in LA, there was a clear one on (which was just fine)... when i got her, i just felt she needed the black...so there NO damages of any kind behind it...but i wont sell it anyways, and the sound is quite interesting, its hard for me to describe (but its a good kind of interesting)...but thanks! juben

Ramirez SP classical Washburn Jazz Box, cheap but very effective. Gypsy Jazz guitar Homemade electric
To solve the problem of the 2 chord experience (See JBAshorun and TANunes above) I learn't how to do Barre chords. found the A shape and E shape to be very effective although a little limiting as I have to play in a major key all the time
