I'll be in Naples later this summer for a week or so and am, unavoidably, travelling with a rather precious guitar. I have insurance, of course, but that wouldn't account for the loss of the instrument in case of theft, the year of waiting to get it, etc etc—and so I'm left wondering whether, whilst in Naples, there is anywhere I can store it safely. Has anyone had a similar situation before?
And, on a lighter note, can anyone recommend any flamenco joints in Naples?
RE: Guitar storage / flamenco in Naples (in reply to bahen)
Naples is an amazing place and so are the people living there but as Italian my 2 cents is that it’s not a safe to carry a precious guitar around at least in certain places. Better to take a different guitar with you. To say it with different words, as in many different countries or cities it’s safe once you get the sense of where you can go with that guitar on your shoulders and the environments where it’s not safe.
