Thank you very much! I can mention it here, no problem. I've got two SM81 microphones, one of which is positioned roughly at the 12th fret and another from lower angling up toward the sound hole, as well as an AKG C214 further back and to my right of the bridge. These go into a Scarlet FocusRite (mine has 4 inputs) which then goes into ProTools, in which I created my own plugins for reverb, mixing, and mastering that I run in real time as I record so that I essentially have a CD-quality recording right out of the gate, with some adjustments usually necessary (typically to reduce volume in a few spots so that I can maximize the overall gain in the track). As far as camera, since October or so I've been using a Sony a6400 at 1080p60fps (tried the 4k setting for my music video but the frame rate caps lower so it's a trade-off). It's a pretty nifty setup overall and I'm really happy with it. :)

I don’t constrain myself to forms, especially not in a premeditated way as I find that really puts a damper on their creative potential, but often in the middle of composing or sometimes even in retrospect I can map out the structure in a fairly specific way. In this piece, for example, there’s the intro going into the main theme, then a variation on the theme in a tarantella-like style (toward the end of which is a reference to some material from the introduction), the slower interlude followed by the pensive waltz section, and a brief, dramatic call-back to the main theme. Sometimes I also notice miniature motifs that develop as I compose, for example in my composition “Fantasia for Two Guitars,” there is a ~7 note melodic motif that recurs in various keys and contexts. Something like that is also not necessarily my intention before I start composing, usually, but ends up developing naturally.

Thank you, but I'm not sure what you mean. This is an original composition and many of the videos on my YouTube channel are also of original compositions. From recent uploads: Crystal Whispers, Windswept, A Meadow by the Sea, the next ones were uploaded a bit earlier but also Bachianne, Vignette, Abandoned City, etc...
