I'm thinking of buying one "Sanchis Lòpez 1F Extra Madagascar 2018 or 2017) or Indian Madagascar or Indian?? Madagascar is more bright than the Indian? ?
RE: Sanchis Lòpez 1F Extra - any op... (in reply to amigo)
Can You not try the guitar before buying it? You can find significant differences even between 1F extras made with the same combination of woods. It does more a better spruce top than better rosewood quality for back and sides. Anyway you should try more than one to pick your favourite. In general, Madagascar is heavier than Indian and tends for a slightly more sustain and overtones all in all.

I had one for a year and it was handpicked by a trusted person. It had great playability, volume and tone, however I just wasn't in love with it. You should really try first as they don't have great re-sell value.

As with any Valencia more small workshop or "factory" type guitar there can be some pretty major differences. However the two Sanchis models I have played were both very satisfactory guitars. The best ever compared to a luthier build? Not really but if you find one at a great price they are a great value. I think their current prices are very high for their 1a models new considering you can buy a luthier builds in the same price range and even less.

In my opinion they are perfectly comparable with a luthier made guitar and much better than many. Obviously I mean the top models, not the Solea or studio models. I tried a 1F extra just recently which was just excellent in any regards. In the past I tried more average Sanchis, playing quite neutral, but not at all bad anyway. IMHO the overall finish (rosette, varnish, tuners, precision) is where these guitars don’t excel and a one man shop would do better. Sound wise instead they know what they do.
