Ugh, sounds like a jazz orchestra falling down a set of stairs.
Really? That seems harsh...this is about as flamenco puro as you can get with that array of instruments. Great cante and guitar with a tasteful seasoning of violin/keyboard/percussion/bass to my ears.

I’m looking forward to hearing the release. I think Chicuelo is a great player and I appreciate how he is willing to stretch, like with Poveda and Faiz Ali Faiz, for example. He’s also been known to play on some other decidedly non-flamenco stuff. I mean, he’s from Barcelona, right? I believe he’s even been seen on stage with that Rosalita character.
I think the mix is good on the ‘Flores’ video, maybe the vocals a bit too at front. But otherwise I enjoyed it. I’ll take violin over flute any day of the week.

This collaboration I quite like. Catchy and has structure. The downside of taking risks is sometimes it goes wrong - Flores to my ears is in comparison a mess.

Is it available on spotify in the US? I can't seem to find it.
On Napster (who pay artists more than Spotify) you won't find it by searching for his stage name. You need to use either his real name or the album name.
Personally I listened for 1/2 a track and then hit replay on Por Mi Amor Al Arte.
