That's the theory at least. In my case it's more like:

GRRRRR F%ck this sh$t I'm gonna learn to play the ocarina instead and make a career playing Zelda covers at nerd conventions. Goes to the local bar and drinks the night away b$tching about flamenco scales. Wakes up the next morning refreshed and ready to give it another go. OK, inhale, exhale, keep calm and practice scales. "Twang". Nail breaks. Repeat cycle.
