Just don't think it's me! Todd don't like me anymore, but, I would never trash his playing! Take that, Toddmiester!! I've always wondered why people a so concerned with him playing with a pick! WTF! He could play with his freaking toes and it would not matter...he's a player, that's what counts! By the way, check out EBay...you might find some good deal on flamenco stuff! Merle

By the way, Simon can check out the ISP from where I post from, and right now, I'm posting from Buger-Bottom, West Virgina...I just left Lizard Spit, Idaho, on my way to Monkey Run, Nebraska...doing the tour thing.... Hey, Simon, I like your blogs! How in the hell did you get permission to record a video on an airplane! Also, my three Chihuahuas can kick your dog's ass! Your dog looks like just a big, old, sloppy tonque dog, ready to lick someone...! Merle

Miguel, I don't think for a minute that it is AndyB...really? I thnk it's just some jealous person, like RonM said (another poster that does not like me anymore), it's just some troll that tries to play, but he cannot play like His Majesty, the ToddMiester! Now, Ricardo...now there is a FAKE guitar player, if I've ever seen one! No talent what so ever...but, he tries, God Bless is little soul! LOL Merle

LOL Merle Honestly, over at the PDL forum, Errol posted my last vid I did with Ramin, and one spanish guy who plays GOOD on there, was convinced my performance was "playback"! Anyway, back to topic, yeah little bits little bits, on and on until it is natural, like speaking or reciting something. Anything less for me and it is dangerous to perform. I have done it and screwed up everytime. One quote from Paco I read long ago in a magazine that really scared me: "If you think you are going to make a mistake, you are lost...". Man that got me practicing! Miguel, for cante accomp. in a dance show, there does not need to be lots of rehearsal. Especially if you have worked with the singer once before. You have to know the standards, just like in a jazz group. The standards are for any guy who sits in, will have no prob. with no rehearsal. I have done a show with a singer I just met, no rehearsal just "where do I put the capo". In fact some singers will get uneasy if you tell them you want to rehearse the tonos. The hardest honestly for me is Sevillanas, cause it can change tonality, and there are so many different melodies. I dread Sevillanas when there is a singer I never worked with before. One singer said to me on stage "cinco...en mi". I was sweating plunking E major and Eminor as if to tune. Then he said "MI FA". I was like phew! But he ended it on A minor, LOL! I prefer Taranto, which is a hard one. Ricardo
