Startling on first sight. But then ... I like it too. There were times when it was said that you couldn´t find Ferraris on scrap yards. These days I suppose you could find some there. -Just besides.
When initially planing to build a studio here, I was thinking of putting a worn out dud over the gate. After having filled the soundhole and covered the whole thing with spar varnish. (And leaving it with strings on.)
It is a pity how basically slick shapes are ending on the dump without being put to some final decorative use.
I like it. Clever use of the sound hole to keep the bottle upright and stable.
