I can't really tell if it's ami or xami down. It sounds more like ami to me. Think of it as one single note, or alternately as grace notes right before the I, or, since it's really a rhythmic ornmentation, a flam or drag. It's not one of those that breaks down in 16th notes or anything. The kind of think you play just by trying to get the first finger in the rasgueado as close to the beat as possible (try to crunch it in as fast as you can while making sure the I falls on the beat).

They're correct. I'm more concerned about that cool chord run at 4:06 cool ****! Damn, El Perla has matured a ton since the personal journey videos, he's a monster now!
