Short Film Skit idea PDL

So i know some people on the foro are into short films, *COUGH ESCRIBANO COUGH* I have an idea for a short film that i think would be hilarious if done right.

When i say I, or me, it could be any flamenco...not necessarily me

Here it is:
So i have just died, i awake in the clouds(heaven), i'm looking around and i see my guitar sitting there *relief*. I grab it and start walking through the clouds and i see Paco de Lucia sitting in a chair in front of me *Holy ****! it's paco de lucia!*. Hola paco, mucho gusto etc etc. He says in spanish " Hello, [name]. You're a good man, and you have done many great things in your life. But before i let you into heaven, there is one thing i need from you.
Me: ok, and what's that?!
Paco: "Toca por bulerias!"
*camera goes from pacos face to mine *look of despair*
The next scene: I am in hell
el Fin!

Good idea, bad idea? Suggestions, comments? religiously offensive?

I think even if you played terribly, he would still smile and say it's fine, keep practicing :)

To me it appears a bit weak as a script but maybe you have some good "visuals" in mind that will make it more exciting.

Close to something good.......a little more thought into the ending maybe.....like maybe he says "Come join the party". Everyone is singing and dancing por bulerias, he looks at you to play. You play terribly, then the next scene is in hell lol

Yeah i know paco was a really cool guy(based on a story someone on the foro told), i guess the idea is that the guitar player in the film would feel expected to play bulerias up to pacos standards haha. I probably wouldn't have the player even play at all, it just goes to the next scene and he's in hell haha.

Yeah i guess for the script it'd be good to add in more conversation before he goes into the last requirement. So the scene flows more naturally, i pretty much just gave the end part of the conversation.

I guess if the player did play some bulerias, really poorly, it would add a scene of extra tension haha....but if you leave that part out.....you leave no room for the viewer to decide if he thought the playing was ok and etc.

You could make a John Walsh movie where he listens to the challenge entries and wears holes through his face of so much facepalming

LOL! At this rate I can see myself getting transformed into a wooden statue to go with the wooden swing.
And Morante should have to sing something old school at some point but what would he choose?

haha i like that , if i played for paco hed say...................maybe just stick with the rhumba -- , then hed walk away whistling a gypsy kings song
