The model with the label Jeronimo signed after personally inspecting and approving each instrument? Oh, wait. That's the model for which Jeronimo left Vassilis a stack of pre-signed labels to slap on as each instrument left the production line.

If these musicians could make money with their music, they'd spare us the embarrassment of watching them smile over a guitar they had to use for their last CD instead of the Conde Hermanos they love!

Perhaps Jeronimo Maya is in a dispute with Vasillis Lazarides (who, we remember, produced a guitar with Jeronimo Maya's "major design and structural input"--and anyone who believes that probably believes the sun orbits the earth!!!). One can imagine the dispute concerns whose label takes precedence--Lazarides's or Maya's pre-signed label. Or even whether or not Maya will use a Lazarides guitar in the CD.

The Jeronimo Maya is ready but i think it took ages... Maya's CD I bought the CD.I think its a nice work overall.By the way he plays with the Lazarides guitar in all the tracks and there are also videos included with this guitar as well (plus an interview with the luthier).I think it sounds amazing.

I finally got around to ordering this - a great album. Three kick-a** bulerias, an incredible 8m tangos for the opening, a killer zambra, lots of cante. The rumba I could skip over, and the last track is hit and miss, but with the rest of the 13 tracks being really solid we can forgive that. Highly recommended.
On another note, in the included video Jeronimo states that 'como soy' is his fourth album - There's the self titled, what are the others? Even if he's including that weird Michael Jackson cover album he did with his brother that would still leave one more.
