Punta Umbria

I just started learning Punta Umbria with Torregrosa's transcription and even the intro has wrong and missing notes..
Anyone kind to share a faucher or Berges Transcription please? I would greatly appreciate it!! thanks

hey man thanks for trying :) ... that one is way off.. Torregrosa's would be more accurate.
In fact now that I went further into it with torregrosa's it does get better. Still there has to be a better transcription for sure. :)

Are you talking about that thing with the blue cover that was published in the ’80s?

I think you are correct.

I was sent that for review when it came out. Torregrosa was obviously a competent musician, but he equally obviously wasn’t a guitarist. A lot of what he wrote is unplayable as written.

In particular, he wrote fandangos and bulerías capo'd at 2 in B. I actually put two of these (Aires choqueros and Plazuela) into Finale and transposed them down a tone (I had more surplus energy in those days), to see if they were right. They confirmed the second sentence above.

However, they do form a useful starting point, much easier than transcribing from scratch. I’ll send them to you if you like. PM me.

And I do seem to remember that Entre dos aguas, transcribed in the right key, was almost entirely correct.
