It's nuanced because fable can also mean a myth, falsehood or lie, so I initially read it as "their lie" would be appreciated. It gives me a headache, but I know what you meant
I see now. Never would I call crime against millions a myth. That can only be done by mind-sets who pre-define their view before suppressing and distorting reality.
